M&M’s Center Ice Skating Programs 2024-25
At the Whitney Rink in the M&M’s Center we are underway with our pre-season and registration for regular season Programs are close at hand. Here is a list of programs that are offered at the Rink with most of them starting the 1st week of November.
- Learn to Skate - Registration is October 9th and 10th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
- Skating lessons designed for children in grades K-12 and adults with the focus on skating skills and having fun. This program will be run by SFSA and will require a US Figure Skating registration.

- 6U/Mini Mites and 8U/Mite Hockey (SAHA) Registration is October 9th and 10th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
- These hockey programs are intended to teach the fundamentals of hockey in a cross-ice format with the emphasis on having fun while developing core hockey skills that allow the player to move to the next level. This program will be run by SAHA and will require a USA Hockey registration.

- Youth Hockey (12yrs old and under) Registration is October 9th and 10th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
- This hockey program intended to teach the fundamentals of hockey with the emphasis on having fun while developing core hockey skills. Practices until Christmas and House League games begin in mid-January. Full season is November thru March

- Adult Hockey Programs - Registration is October 9th and 10th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
- Sunday Co-Ed League, Old Puckers, Early Risers Hockey, Men’s League and Novice are Rink Programs that require registration and proper skill levels to join. If you register in one or more programs you are allowed access to Stick and Puck times all season long. Season is early November thru March
- Sunday Co-Ed League is a Co-Ed league with a variety of skill levels from intermediate and up. The teams are formed at the beginning of the season and scheduled games are on Sunday aft/evenings. This program is not for novice players.
- Old Puckers is a noon hour drop-in format on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30am for players that are 40 years and over,
- players need to register to play. This program is not for novice players.
- Early Risers Hockey is a 6am Drop-in format on Tues/Thurs mornings for intermediate players and up, that want to play before work. Past Novice players may attend but must have the fundamentals to be able to safely play at a higher pace.
- Men’s League (Women players are welcome to play) is an intermediate to advanced league. The teams are formed at the beginning of the season and scheduled games are on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 9:30pm.
- This program is not for novice players.
- Novice is an adult Learn to Play program on Sundays at 2:45pm and is intended to help you learn the game or brush up if you haven’t played for many years. Novice players must be evaluated before they are eligible to join leagues or play drop-in games the next season, for obvious safety reasons. Some skating experience is a big plus! Gear is also available to rent if needed.

- Yooper’s Hockey is a private group of invited players and is not a Rink program.
