M&M’s Center Ice Skating Programs 2023-2024
At the Whitney Rink in the M&M’s Center we are underway with our pre-season and registration for regular season Programs are close at hand.
Here is a list of programs that are offered at the Rink with most lessons and Leagues starting by Nov 5, 2023.
Learn to Skate - Registration is October 11th and 12th, 2023 at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
Skating lessons designed for children in grades K-12 and adults with the focus on skating skills and having fun.
Figure Skating Club (SFSC) Registration for this program is underway Must be evaluated for this program - Contact Emily at email@example.com
6U/Mini Mites and 8U/Mite Hockey (SAHA) Registration is October 11th and 12th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
Ice hockey programs intended to teach the fundamentals of hockey in a cross-ice format with the emphasis on having fun while developing core hockey skills that allow the player to move to the next level. This program will be run by SAHA and will require a USA Hockey registration. Youth Hockey (12yrs old and under) Registration is October 11th and 12th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
Ice hockey program intended to teach the fundamentals of hockey with the emphasis on having fun while developing core hockey skills. Practices will begin November 6th, then for the Christmas break on Dec 20th and start back up on Jan 8th then teams will be formed, and games will start the following week. Look for Team Rosters and Game schedule in your email by January 13th for the House League Season that will go until March. For more info contact Dan at email@example.com
Adult Hockey Programs - Registration is October 11th and 12th at the Rink (3:00-6:00pm)
Novice, Friday Nite Co-Ed, Sunday Co-Ed League, Old Puckers, Early Risers, Drillers and Bomber Mountain Hockey are Rink Programs that require registration and proper skill levels to join. If you register in one or more programs and combine it with a Rink Membership, the added value allows you to skate almost daily with access to all Stick and Puck times.
Novice is an adult Learn to Play program that will practice Sundays at 2:45pm and is intended to help you learn the game or brush up, if you haven’t played for many years. Novice players must be evaluated before they are eligible to join leagues or play drop-in games the next season, for obvious safety reasons. Gear is also available to rent if needed. Nov 5th – Mar 17th
Friday Nite Co-Ed Group is a fun night for couples and friends to play hockey together on most Friday nights at 5pm or 5:30pm and you need to have the fundamentals down with the ability to keep up. (This will be Drop-In until the end of October, then you need to register to play) This program is not for novice players.
Sunday Co-Ed League is a Co-Ed league with a variety of skill levels from intermediate and up. The teams are formed at the beginning of the season and scheduled games are on Sunday aft/evenings from Nov 5th - Mar 31st. This program is not for novice players.
Old Puckers Hockey is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30am starting in November for registered players who are 40 years old and up. (This will be Drop-In on Thursdays until the end of October, then you need to register to play) This program is not for novice players.
Early Risers Hockey is on Tuesday and Thursdays at 6:00am and is for intermediate players and up, that want to play before work.
Novice players may attend but must have the fundamentals mastered and be able to safely play at a higher pace. (This will be Drop-In until the end of October, then you need to register to play)
Drillers Hockey is a Drop-in format for intermediate adult players and up that will play on Tuesday evenings at 9:30pm.
This program is not for novice players.
Bomber Mountain Hockey is a Drop-in format for advanced adult players that will play on Wednesday evenings at 9:30pm.

Other Hockey Groups no registration needed, by invite only.
Yooper’s Hockey is a private group of invited players and is not a Rink program.
